Lewis Wright, Varsity Head Coach
Lewis is an Austin, TX native who started playing lacrosse in the fall of 1992 as a freshman at Austin High School. During his time as a goalie at AHS he was a part of the 1993 and 1994 Texas State Championship teams, was a 2 time All-District selection, a 2 time All-State selection, and recorded Austin High’s first ever shutout. After being recruited by some DIII schools, Lewis decided to stay home and attend The University of Texas at Austin. He played 2 seasons with the Longhorns and was a part of their 1997 and 1998 SWLA Conference Championship and NIRSA National Championship teams. He is still an active player, when he can find the time. As a coach, Lewis started out at Stony Point High School where he was brought on as a D-Coordinator and Goalie coach for the Varsity. After 2 seasons, Lewis took over as the Head Coach at Stony Point and served there for 2 more seasons. During his time at Stony Point, the Tigers won 3 District Titles, 3 D2 Final Four appearances, and 1 D2 State Runner Up. Lewis made the jump to D1 when he joined Westwood HS as their Defensive Coordinator in the Fall of 2011. He spent 3 seasons with Westwood helping them make a State Super Regionals appearance. After the 2014 season he joined the Round Rock HS program to help their transition from D2 to D1. He spent 3 seasons at Round Rock as the Head Coach, and helped them make their first D1 playoff appearance. During his time coaching, Lewis has had several players earn All-State, All-Distinct, and Honorable Mention honors. He has also helped several players move on to play at the next level in college (D1, D2, D3, and MCLA). Lewis has also spent summers coaching for various teams and events. These include: the Texas Team for the National Lacrosse Classic, Trilogy HS Black, Brady's Bunch U19 and U17, OneStar Lacrosse, Bill Pilat's Goalie School, and C2C Austin. He has lead his teams in events in Long Island, Boston, Baltimore, Denver, Vail, Ocean City MD, Virginia Beach, IMG Nationals in Florida, and more. Lewis currently lives in Leander with his wife (Hayley) and 2 daughters (Natalie and Nicole), where he enjoys being involved in Natalie's lacrosse and Nicole's Taekwondo activities.
Donnie Murray, Junior Varsity Head Coach
Donnie Murray is returning for his second year with the Raiders. He has played and coached lacrosse for 13 years. Started playing lacrosse in Jr High when he moved to Arizona from California. Donnie played Varsity lacrosse at Hamilton High School located in Chandler, AZ, starting all 4 years as goalie. He was a major contributor to the state winning team as a Jr and holds multiple records/awards. During his High School career, Donnie played on multiple travel teams for the state of Arizona. After High School, he continued his lacrosse career and pursuit of higher education by attending Mercyhurst Junior College in Northeast Pennsylvania for a year. Donnie then transferred to Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX. He was part of the University's inaugural DIII team. During his collegiate career, Donnie was honored and recognized multiple times by SCAC for his efforts on and off the field. He was also a major influencer, administrator, and coach for Brady's Bunch Lacrosse Organization.
Jason Creedon-McVean, Junior Varsity Assistant Coach
Jason Creedon-McVean is his first year with the Raiders. He has been coaching lacrosse in Central Texas since 2003. Though a native Texan, Jason learned to play lacrosse while growing up in the greater Seattle area. Jason played high school lacrosse for The Overlake School in Redmond, WA. Overlake made it to the Washington State Lacrosse Division I Semifinals Jason's Junior and Senior seasons. Jason returned to his roots for college, attending Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX. He played for the Pirate's MDIA and MCLA club programs and was a two-time Captain of the team and President of the Lacrosse Club. After graduating from SU, Jason served as an Assistant Coach at McNeil before returning to his alma mater as an Assistant Coach under head Coach Bill Bowman. Jason also has experience coaching Canadian-style box lacrosse, and has served as a Head Coach for Round Rock Youth Lacrosse 7/8 teams the past two seasons.
Jim Mosley, CRHS Faculty Sponsor
Jim was born and raised in Austin, Texas. He graduated from Texas State University in 1997 with a BS in Aquatic Biology. In 2007 he earned his Masters in Science Education from U.T. Austin. He is married to Glenda Mosley and has 2 kids, Taylor age 10 and Cash age 4. Jim has been a high school teacher since 2003. I've taught numerous science classes for the past 14 years. He started his teaching career at Stony Point 9th grade center working with back graded freshmen and then moved to the main campus the next year. Jim was an integral part of starting the Stony Point Lacrosse program in 2005 and supported the program as their sponsor until 2010. In 2010 he accepted a position at CRHS and helped open the campus. In that same year, he helped start a combined SPHS/CRHS Lacrosse program.
